The Activate programme is about making smart use of your time and money. Our goal is to give you the clarity in what to do and not do in growing your business. Your investment in attending the programme will be rewarded multiple times over, giving you:

This programme is ideal for business owners who are either starting a new business or want to improve the performance of an existing business or gain investment.

We kick start the programme with a high impact, “live in” workshop weekend and then follow up with a dedicated strategy review session post workshop to ensure the learning is put into practice, plus 3 mentoring sessions.

Activate Stage 1: Jump Start Weekend - full on “live in” weekend (Friday night – Sunday night) where you will learn and apply the fundamentals of creating and managing a high growth business. Think of it as a complete business management programme crammed into one weekend.

You will leave with:
• Succinct business plan – using diagrams not novels
• Sales and investment pitch – to attract customers and investors
• Clear understanding what will and won’t work in your business – to give you clarity
• Numerous tips and tools – to save money, time and de –risk your business

As part of Stage 1 you also receive a follow up dedicated faciliatated 1/2 day Strategic review of your company, 1 month after the weekend as well as 3 x 2 hr mentoring sessions. Also scheduled is a Market Validation workshop led by Grow Wellington and related market scan report.

Cost:
$3000 - Inclusive of all materials, accommodation and food    (50% deposit required to confirm your booking)
$700 - second person from same company to attend weekend workshop.
$500 optional but recomended Market Scan Research – by Ministry of Science and Innovation Global Expert team

Venue and Times: 23-25 March 2012 (WLG)

The Jumpstart weekend is held at Tatum Park 80km drive from Wellington or 61km from Palmerston North. We have chosen a venue that will take you away from the day to day so you can concentrate on the programme. The weekend will be all consuming from 7pm Friday - 5pm Sunday, do not expect any free time. The follow up sessions will be in Wellington Central.

For Auckland we use a venue in Parnell- close to central city

Your coach and task master for the weekend will be Mark Robotham. He has spent the last 5 years helping 1000’s of businesses navigate the perils of growth and comes with hands on experience and scars in growing NZ export companies. Jenny Douche also attends Sunday's session and manages some of the follow up mentoring.

Activate Stage 2: Gather Speed Workshop Series Learn from and grill the Professionals 3 evening workshops spread over 6 weeks where you will go into the next level of detail learning from professionals in the following areas:
• Sales
• Legal Services (commercial and intellectual property)
• Finance an Accounting
• Branding

Cost: $1000 per company

Venue and Times:  Wellington Central Wednesday nights 5-30pm - 9pm
